Scuba Knights, originally known as Scuba Delectables, was established in 2013 by Dom and George. As their passion for diving grew, so did their commitment towards scuba diving and the marine world. As avid photographers themselves, they’ve witnessed the devastating effects that humanity have inflicted on the marine world and it spurred them in wanting to create more awareness on marine conservation.
Together with other like-minded friends they’ve made through their diving endeavours, the duo decided to embark on a new chapter in their diving journey with Scuba Knights to introduce and share the wonders of the ocean and marine conservation through diving classes.

Christopher Chin
Managing Director
Chris is an Electrical Engineer with a penchant for sound systems engineering. At work, he deals with hazardous voltages and power enough to light up a 10 city blocks. Outside of work, Chris is 'The Man' behind the scenes setting up and tuning sound system for concerts and events. Chris has been diving since 2012 and is passionate about large marine animals, especially sharks, which he may be a little bit too overenthusiastic about. He can always be found raving to people about his dive stories (especially about a time when he a hammerhead decided to swim towards him and it froze him until he forgot to click the camera shutter).

Shawn Tjong
Director, Business Development
The latest addition to Scuba Knight's management team, and also our youngest ever Advanced Open Water Instructor, Shawn has been diving for the past 10 years at exotic places all over Indonesia. An avid cook, Shawn has a flair for Italian cuisine, exquisite coffees and fine wines. Don't let his young age fool you - Armed with a degree in International Business and Economics, he also co-owns an Italian restaurant in Batam and is involved in several other business ventures as well. Ladies, what are you waiting for?

George Low
Director, Sales and Corporate Affairs
An electrical engineer by profession, George was an amateur photographer mesmerised by the shutter sound of his camera at a young age. His multi identities includes being a senior diving instructor, travel journalist and commercial photographer. Travelling around the world has made him fascinated with shooting colourful underwater ecology and the different human cultures beyond the horizon. He was recently honoured him with numerous underwater photography awards as well as the SSI top instructor for 2018. George aims to reach out to more divers in Asia through his photography work and Scuba Knights (in-house underwater photographer).

Roy Chai
Director, Internal Control
Chemical Engineer by training with a knack for process modeling, control and automation. Roy is a technology evangelist and enthusiast, having being exposed to computer programming since the age of 7 and written his first commercial software back when floppy disks are still popular. In 2016 he was introduced into the underwater world by George and has since never looked back. He has witnessed the dwindling of pelagic lives, bleaching and destruction of corals in Tioman. To safeguard our ocean’s future, he strives to raise the public’s awareness on what’s happening underwater.
